Transportation and Parking

Note to DC Visitors: When following directions in DC, double-check the quadrant so you don’t end up on the other side of town! The DC map is a grid of four quadrants, with the U.S. Capitol as the focal point. Consequently, every street is either NW, SW, NE, or SE of the Capitol. Capital Turnaround is in the SE quadrant of the city. The conference entrances is on the west side of the building on 7th Street SE.

NEW THIS YEAR! Nationals Parking Lot W (Directly West of Capital Turnaround)

• Lot opens at 6am each morning

• Closes at 7pm

• Cars will not be allowed to enter after 5pm

• No overnight parking is allowed

  • Costs (payable via credit card) 

    • $16 before 9am - All Day

    • $20 after 9am - All Day

• There are 187 spaces (first come, first served)

Public Transportation

• Closest Metro Stations - Navy Yard-Ballpark (Green Line) + 10 minute walk east on M Street or Eastern Market (Blue, Orange, Silver Lines) + 11 minute walk south along 7th Street

• Metro Bus Access - There are also several bus stops close to the campus
